Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required (business discipline preferred)
• Minimum experience 8-10 years in Financial Services industry, preferably in custody asset servicing & fund services, markets or prime brokerage, securities lending space
• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel (vlookups, etc.), and Outlook
Job Description
J.P. Morgan Custody provides Institutional investors access to markets worldwide for the settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, along with ancillary services such as Foreign Exchange and Liquidity Solutions.
Asset Servicing roles are responsible for managing all corporate- and income-related events across all asset classes for collections, announcement capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion and payment processing, claims management, Nostro resolution, tax reclamation, proxy voting services, capital calls, distribution, and class actions.
Position Responsibilities
• Reconcile positions, payments and process transactions to clients account
• Performs both routine and non-routine asset servicing transactions and tasks with moderate to advanced complexity by leveraging intermediate to advanced subject matter expertise.
• This may include diagnosing problems and providing operational or technical resolution within defined and limited autonomy.
• Generally involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, income, or taxes, and resolving queries across multiple corporate- and income-related events.
• Requires understanding of asset servicing lifecycle.
• Serves as point of contact for internal communication with Middle Office and Client Service.
• Additional responsibilities include peer work review and offering suggestions on process improvements.
• May serve as a lead or mentor on team as the direct resource regarding products, services and LOB knowledge.
