We are looking for a Cinematographer + Video Editor to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in videography, video editing and basic motion graphics. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creative storytelling skills, and the technical expertise to capture and produce high-quality video content while integrating motion graphics for enhanced visual appeal.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Pre-Production
• Collaborating with the creative team to understand the project vision and narrative goals.
• Developing shot lists and contributing to story boarding to establish the visual style.
• Planning camera setups, lighting design, and equipment requirements.
• Production
• Ensuring that shoot set up is done as per schedule and shoot requirements.
• Operating cameras and directing crew to achieve desired visual results.
• Designing and executing lighting setups that enhance mood, tone, and clarity.
• Ensuring consistent framing, focus, and exposure across all shots.
• Directing on-set composition, camera movements to maximize storytelling impact.
• Ensure visually engaging and impactful content delivery in shoots.
• Troubleshooting technical issues with cameras, lenses, rigs, and lighting gear.
Post production
• Back up all the footage on external hard disks as well as cloud storage systematically.
• Distribute footage to the relevant teams.
• Integrate motion graphics for marketing materials, and social media content.
• Create compelling video narratives through seamless editing.
• Stay updated on the latest AI tools, video techniques, and industry trends to optimize workflows.
• Explore and implement innovative editing techniques to elevate content quality.
This role will require you to travel outside of Bangalore as well to cover outstation events.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a Cinematographer and Video editor (portfolio required).
• Expertise in operating professional cameras ( Sony, Canon etc.)
• Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting and audio recording.
• A strong portfolio showcasing videography, motion graphics and visual effects.
• Proficiency in video editing softwares - Premiere Pro & After Effects.
• Flexibility to adapt to different shooting environments (studio, outdoor, live events).
• A creative thinker with a knack for crafting visually compelling content.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
