Main Responsibilities
Advise City officials on various matters related to municipal law, including zoning, land use, and public safety.
Analyze legislation, regulations, and court decisions to inform policy development.
Represent the City in administrative hearings and negotiations with private parties.
Essential Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in the Connecticut State Bar.
At least 3 years of relevant experience as an attorney, preferably in government or public service.
Strong knowledge of municipal law, policy, and procedure.
