More Background:

Dunzo is a 24x7 delivery app that makes your city more accessible by getting the best of it at your doorstep. You can order groceries, food, medicines, and send packages within the city. Currently operational in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida and Kolkata. We have plans to expand to various other cities in the country.

City Head

Role Objective:
• Manage growth and profitability of your city by working and managing different internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and implement acquisitions strategy at a City Level
• Ensure healthy profitability and a unit level
• Lead, groom and train the sales team towards achieving City Targets
• Perform regular data analysis to find areas of Improvement
• Act as a bridge between the leadership and the City Teams
• You will be supported by Central Operations, Marketing and other functional teams to help you achieve results set for your city, efficiently and quickly.

Responsibilities:
• Set and achieve short- and long-term goal for growth & profitability for your city
• Take complete ownership of city's P&L and managing jointly with central operations & marketing teams
• Build and work a team to grow partners and users for your city
• Plan and execute new products and feature to unlock use cases for Dunzo users and partners
• Take ownership of city specific and local regulatory requirements
• Identify and communicate product/process requirements to internal teams across engineering, product and central business teams
• Manage growth and performance of individuals in the city team

Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of work experience, preferably with experience in P&L management
• Data-driven decision making and strong analytical thinking, along with a creative solutions-driven mindset
• Strategic thinking and sound-business judgment
• Ability to work and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders through solid project-management and communication
• Leadership to motivate your team to take up and achieve tall business targets
• Good interpersonal skills to build and grow valuable business networks and partnerships
