The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to attract and retain businesses in the area. As the City Manager, you will work closely with government officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders to create a welcoming environment for businesses of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business development plans and strategies to attract and retain businesses in the region.
Build and maintain relationships with government officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders.
Provide support and guidance to businesses in the region to ensure their success and growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the expansion of existing businesses.
Analyze economic trends and identify areas of potential growth and development.
Collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote the region and attract new businesses.
Prepare and present reports to government officials and community stakeholders.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Development department.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
