Job Description
The candidate will be required to:
· Develop and deliver models using the Autodesk suite including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit etc... for airfield projects, including ground profile modelling, below ground servicesmodelling and clash detection, generation of schedules and material and quantify take-offs.
· Working and coordination with design staff;
· Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the design process;
· Actively work at improving drafting skills
· Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with Client drafting standards;
· Ensuring that delivery is achieved in accordance with the company's management systems including CAD/BIM Standards, Health and Safety, project and risk management.
· Review, implement and contribute to the development of our CAD/BIM standards and modelling
delivery process.
· Implement the technical quality requirements, address the project brief and meet client deadlines.
Qualifications and work experience
The current team is diverse and well respected across the industry therefore the candidate is required to have sound technical abilities to help enhance and grow the team. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in Civil 3D modelling of civil infrastructure projects and ideally have previous experience of airfield or airport projects.
Minimum Requirements
· Minimum 2 years of civil infrastructure 3D modelling experience
· Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
· Detail-oriented and highly organized
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines;
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook);
· Strong sense and commitment to CAD/BIM standards and procedures
· Ability to prioritize and respond to the needs of multiple projects and managers
· Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing
ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audience.
· Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of
responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
· Ability to work proactively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of airfield engineering and experience of working on airport projects
· Experience of international airfield design standards
· Experience of other Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit etc
