As a Design Engineer (Civil) working in therenewable energy business of ABG, you would be part of a dynamic and evolving team that offers excitingopportunities to contribute to the exponential growth journey of the business and nation's energytransition. Your role would involve designing and planning civil engineering aspects of various renewableenergy projects, such as solar power plants, wind farms, floater projects etc. You'll collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams and work on projects of varying scales. • Principal AccountabilitiesAccountability Supporting ActionsSite Assessment andFeasibility Studies Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate thesuitability of locations for renewable energy projects. Analyze geotechnical data, topographic surveys, and environmentalimpact assessments to identify potential challenges andopportunities related to civil engineering design. Civil Engineering Design Develop detailed civil engineering designs for renewable energyprojects, including solar farms, wind farms, floater, and otherfacilities. Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, foundationdesigns, and road infrastructure to support the renewable energyinstallations. Ensure that civil designs align with project objectives, localregulations, and environmental considerations. Collaboration andCoordination Collaborate with the project development team, environmentalexperts, and other stakeholders to integrate civil engineeringrequirements into the overall project plan. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers toobtain necessary inputs and ensure timely project delivery. Permitting and Compliance Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for civilengineering aspects of renewable energy projects. Ensure compliance with local, state, and central regulations andenvironmental standards throughout the design process. Technical Evaluation Evaluate the technical aspects of civil engineering proposals fromvendors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to projectrequirements and quality standards. Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations to supportprocurement decisions. Quality Assurance and RiskManagement Implement quality assurance processes to verify the accuracy andcompleteness of civil engineering designs. Identify potential risks related to civil engineering aspects anddevelop mitigation strategies. Provide a design to safeguard ABGs safety standards Sustainability and Innovation Integrate sustainable design principles and innovative technologiesto enhance the performance and efficiency of renewable energyprojects. Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies andadvancements in civil engineering design for renewable energyapplications.
