Vacancy: Civil Engineer (Site)
Location: Serilingampally, Hyderabad
Experience: 3-7 years
Past Job Roles: On Site Execution using "conventional building methodology" in Residential and Commercial Projects
Qualifications: Diploma/B.TECH/PMP/NICMAR/MRICS
Job Description:
• Coordinate and monitor the project from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion of the project.
• Ensure that there is a well thought out site management plan in place.
• Ensure quality control checks are conducted through all stages of the schedule so that budgets and timelines are met.
• Submit the daily work progress reports and daily labour reports.
• Assign tasks to contractors and supervisors as and when required.
• Communicate any key problems or updates to the project head and project manager.
• Ensure cleanliness on site at all times and make necessary arrangements for the welfare of workers.
• Ensure that all workers are wearing necessary safety gear when they enter the site.
• Formulate a clear plan for material and store management and implement systems so that there is no misuse of material.
• Implement the use of lasers, plastering machines, etc. and other new technologies where possible.
• Follow up on the issue of purchase orders and stay in contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare weekly worker bills and a bill of contractors.
• Ensure that material testing is carried out on site when received.
• Track and report changes in costs, delays, etc. where applicable.
• Monitor the performance of all sub contractors for consistent quality.
• Maintain a file of all updated drawings and a separate file of old drawings to track changes if required.
• Ensure a copy of the work order and purchase order is on site for review and billing.
• Maintain a visitor book and regularly update enquiries and communicate the same to the marketing team.
• Maintain a customer book and track visits and on-site changes as applicable. Forward the same to the PM for extra work quotation and execute accordingly
