School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi was established in 1+41 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. The Government of India recognized the specialized nature of the fields in which the School had attained eminence and in 1+7+ conferred on the School the status of "Deemed to be a University". The School has broadened its horizon by introducing new academic and extension programmes and promoting research and consultancy activities. A new campus is being developed on 20 acres of land recently acquired south of JNU in New Delhi.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer as Project Associate at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. The Civil Engineer will be responsible mainly for estimation and other works for civil engineering design, planning, stormwater management, and other related duties as required.
Qualifications
• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills
• Proficient in building and infrastructure estimation
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Master Degree in Urban Planning/Environmental Planning/Structure/ Or relevant field from an accredited university
• Familiarity with relevant software for civil engineering design and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others
• Experience in the education or public sector is a plus
