Civil Engineering Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

Invertis University seeks a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our Civil Engineering Lab. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting various labs and practicals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

- Conduct experiments and practicals in Civil Engineering, following established procedures and guidelines.

- Provide explanations on lab manuals and procedures for students, highlighting key concepts and equipment usage.

- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, ordering replacements as necessary to ensure uninterrupted lab activities.

- Document lab procedures and results, performing miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

- A Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field is required.

- Strong knowledge of Surveying, Concrete Technology, Transportation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering labs is essential.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with students and staff.

- Proficiency in computer applications is expected.

- Previous experience in Civil Engineering labs and testing is an asset.
