Job Description
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
• Managing land and site development projects, ensuring technical design integrity and quality control.
• Engaging in business development activities focused on targeted areas for growth.
• Acting as the primary interface for project clients, fostering strong relationships.
• Overseeing the financial management of projects to ensure budget adherence.
• Collaborating with your team to establish and achieve business objectives.
• Utilizing expertise in the City of Houston and Harris County design processes.
Qualifications
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or the potential to obtain it within 12 months of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant project experience, with 5-8 years preferred.
• Proven experience in managing civil and site development projects.
• Demonstrated leadership in civil design for public works or site development.
• Strong technical design capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, both verbal and written, alongside excellent organizational skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local and U.S. design codes and standards.
• Preferred experience working in the local area.
