Civil Engineering Technician

Full job description

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician. This is a permanent full-time role, and you will need to work from Monday to Saturday (30 to 40 hours per week).

Determine suitable construction methods, materials, and quality standards for civil and foundation projects.

Draft and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and construction procedures for ground and structural works.

Organise and direct site labour, materials delivery, and plant/equipment use; coordinate on-site activities according to detailed programs.

Conduct soil and rock sampling at varying depths; perform or oversee laboratory testing to evaluate soil strength, compressibility, and load-bearing capacity.

Provide geotechnical input for safe loading design, excavation support, shoring systems, and foundation types.
