About the Role:

NDRA (National Debt Recovery Agency), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Claims & Recoveries Officer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of debt recovery matters on behalf of external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers. You’ll oversee the full recovery lifecycle - from claim initiation through to resolution -negotiating outcomes, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of matters from initiation through to resolution.

Liaising with external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers, to obtain documentation, provide updates, and manage expectations.

Managing inbound and outbound calls with insurers, customers, and third parties to gather information and progress matters.

Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties to achieve commercially sound outcomes.

Overseeing and reconciling a ledger of repair, assessing, towing, and credit hire rental invoices.

Collaborating and communicating effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth progression.


About You:

Previous experience in customer service or sales (desirable but not essential).

Experience in debt recovery, claims management, insurance, or a related field (highly regarded but not essential).

Confident communicator with strong phone-based negotiation skills.

Tech-savvy with solid administrative and computer skills.

High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.

Professional, resilient, and empathetic approach.

Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
