We are currently recruiting for an additional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Transport division located at our Portbury - Bristol depot.
Working hours: Monday - Friday Days - No tramping.
Hourly Rate: £14.50 per hour paid weekly.
Overtime after 3+ hours paid at time and a half (£21.75 per hour).
Duties And Responsibilities
• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot
What are we looking for?
• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Someone who can lift up to 18kg
• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
