CLASS 1 DRIVER – Full-Time, Permanent
Tsunami Water Solutions Ltd. | Western Canada
Tsunami Water Solutions Ltd. is currently accepting applications for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent, non-seasonal position offering competitive pay, great benefits, and the opportunity to work across Western Canada.
We are looking for a driver local to Central Alberta who is a dependable, safety-focused driver with a minimum of 5 years of Class 1 driving experience and a strong background in equipment hauling and cargo securement.
What You’ll Do
• Transport equipment and materials to various field locations across Western Canada
• Haul oversized and overweight loads, managing daily transport permits
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper cargo securement and weight distribution per axle load limits and NSC regulations
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and manage ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards
• Conduct minor preventative maintenance as needed
What You Bring
• Valid Class 1 license with at least 5 years of professional driving experience
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Physically fit – able to chain up, climb ladders, and secure loads
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
• Strong understanding of the trucking/freight industry
• Familiar with cargo securement and weight distribution
• Proficient with apps and technology
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
• First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certifications
