This role will require driving primarily throughout Alberta as well as British Columbia.
Schedule: 70 on, 36 reset.

Responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste (tank, van, and/or roll-off dump trailer) from a generator/facility to a company facility and/or an outside disposal facility.
Communicate regularly with coordinators regarding daily times and demurrage.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (i.e., drums are properly segregated and loaded, etc.); Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment.
Responsible for maintaining daily logs, worksheets, timecard, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports.
Responsible for the proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
Maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order.
Valid Class 1 driver’s license required.
Previous experience with manual transmission, 18 speed required.
2 years of previous operating experience - (tank, van, and/or roll-off dump trailer).
Mountain Driving experience highly preferred.
Live within close commuting distance to our Ryley facility to pick/drop off up the truck.
Previous Transportation of Dangerous Goods and/or Hazardous Waste preferred
Valid safety tickets.
Must be open to potential overnight travel throughout the year.
Valid Canadian FAST Card highly preferred - willing to perform trips cross border to the US.
Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
