CLASS 2 DRIVER
WORKING DAYS BETWEEN SUNDAY - SATURDAY: START TIMES
£15.50 PER HOUR
People Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Lanark.

Opportunity for a permanent contract
Day to Day Duties
Driving Class 2 vehicles for the delivery of kitchen products
Carrying out pre and post-journey vehicle checks
Ensuring timely delivery to customers and depots
Loading and unloading kitchen materials
Completing delivery paperwork and logs accurately
Operating the vehicle in accordance with all legal and company safety requirements
Following assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules
Communicating with the logistics team regarding any delays or issues on the road
Essential Skills
Valid UK Category C driving licence (held for a minimum of two years)
Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Valid digital tachograph card (Digi Card)
Good understanding of driving safety and regulations
Good time management and communication skills
Physically fit and capable of handling goods if required
Desirable Experience
Previous experience delivering large or bulky goods
Familiarity with Lanark and surrounding road networks
Good customer service skills
Experience using in-vehicle technology and navigation systems
Flexibility to cover extra shifts if necessary
Training
Manual Handling Training provided
