We are seeking a Class 2 Driver to work on a long-term, temporary assignment with our client.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to work alongside a technician to backfill holes after stormwater pipes have been laid. While laboring will be involved, the position will be mostly driving.
Key Responsibilities:
Work effectively with a technician to backfill stormwater pipe holes
Participate in laboring tasks when required
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle along main roads and highways
Maintain effective communication with technicians and team members while operating the vehicle
Requirements:
Hold a valid and clean New Zealand Class 2 license
Possession of WTR endorsements is desirable but not necessary
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Demonstrate a high commitment to Health and Safety
Benefits:
A starting rate of $26 per hour, dependent on experience
