Class 2 HGV Driver

As a TradeChoice Class 2 HGV Driver, you will:
• Performing multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Supervising the HGVs loading and unloading
• Ensuring the load is accurate and in keeping with customers orders
• Quality checking goods-off with customers and obtain their signature
• Maintaining compliance with tachograph law and safety regulations
• Ensuring cleanliness of the HGV and prevention to damage
• Reporting any accidents immediately in line with the accident reporting procedure
• Completing daily inspection sheet and hand to Operations Manager
• Proactivity regarding the vehicle inspection rota for servicing and MOT
• Providing support in the warehouse as required
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
Your working pattern:
• Monday to Friday
• Between 7am to 4pm
• 60-minute break
You:
• Driving in the UK (1 year)
• Highway code and road safety best practices
• HGV & delivery driving
• UK geographical knowledge
• Excellent driving skills and road etiquette (parking, safety, speed awareness, etc.)
• Ability to work to diversions
• Planning and organisation
• Thorough communication and reliability
• Awareness of health importance, particularly during autonomous working time.
• Manual/physical dexterity
• Interpersonal skills, particularly toward customers and colleagues
• Able to remain calm and conducive in stressful situations
• UK Driving Licence (Category C, Full, Clean)
• Class 2 HGV Licence
• Driver CPC
