Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV HIAB Class 2 driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.
Pay rate is between :£15.50 - £16.00
Working hours are : 07:30-17:00
Duties
• Operate a HIAB lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines without compromising safety.
Skills
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with HIAB vehicles.
• Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities, including route planning and time management.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record with no more than 3 points.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
