JR211: Class 2 Removals Driver Location: Bristol Salary: Up To £2+,+52 Per AnnumOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Removals Driver on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:
• LGV driving
• Warehouse duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with driving time directive and legislation
• Responsible for the legal operation of the vehicle - including locking, parking, cleaning, fuelling etc.
• Daily checks on vehicle - oil, water, lights, fluids, tires
• Report on any damage to vehicle or its load
• Read and receive daily orders
• Ensure adequate packing materials and equipment are on the van for the day’s job(s)
• Complete legal and Company documentation
• Packing assorted household/office goods
• Transporting household/office goods to/from vehicle
• Liaising with customer regarding placement of effects and unpacking where required
• Ensure paperwork for each move is complete and return to general office
• Carry out further tasks exigent to the circumstances of the Company
Skills And Qualifications
• Class 2 Licence
• Driver CPC Card
• Digital Tacho Card
• Physically fit
• Excellent customer service skills
