Full job description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Truck Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Class 2 heavy vehicles in a safe and e>icient manner in accordance with road
regulations and company policies.
Load and unload goods while observing all safety procedures.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete pre-trip and post-trip checklists, reporting any
defects as required.
Ensure goods are secured appropriately to avoid damage or loss during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all relevant load documentation is completed
and accompanies freight.
Estimate and manage loads to comply with legal weight limitations and ensure even distribution.
Communicate e>ectively with dispatch and customers as needed.
Comply with all health and safety, road transport, and company compliance requirements.
Maintain records required for compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
At least one year of experience as a truck driver.
Must have a valid NZ Heavy Truck driver’s Class 2 NZ driving license or overseas Truck driver’s
driving license.
To be fit and prepared for a physical role.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Ability to work various shifts.
Energetic, reliable and has an exceptional work ethic.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Candidates with prior experience in handling Indian spices and related products are preferred.
