Class 5 Truck Driver
Company: BS BAJWA LIMITED trading as BS Bajwa Transport
Location of work : New Zealand
Head office : 27 Margaret Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland, 2025 , New Zealand
Pay rate: 34 per hour
Minimum Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. The employee would be advised a week in advance for his shift. The employee will be entitled to 2 days off during each week.
BS Bajwa Transport is seeking two reliable and experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our team. This is a full-time role offering a minimum of 30 hours per week with nationwide travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
Safely manoeuvring vehicles for loading and unloading
Loading and unloading goods using lifting and tipping equipment
Following all safety procedures during loading and unloading
Conducting regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
Estimating load weights and ensuring they comply with legal limits
Securing loads to prevent movement, loss, or damage
Verifying loading documents and checking the condition of goods
Obtaining delivery confirmations and maintaining accurate records
Role Requirements
Valid Class 5 licence with Dangerous Goods (DG) and Forklift (F) endorsements.
Minimum 2 years’ driving experience or a relevant NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification
Ability to work flexible rostered hours including days and nights
Willingness to travel nationwide using a floating truck and trailer unit
Physically fit with the ability to meet the demands of the role
Clean and up-to-date driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal history checks
