Class A Mechanic
We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Mechanic to join our team in Round Rock, TX.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures of company vehicles, including trucks, and related equipment. They will also perform preventive maintenance inspections as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures of company vehicles and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections as required
• Document repair operations and time-tracking according to company procedures
• Requisition parts as necessary
• Conduct technical inspections and document findings
Requirements:
• Minimum three years experience as Truck Mechanic or Diesel Engine Specialist
• Minimum High school diploma or GED
• Texas Class B Commercial Drivers License is required
• Experience in the trash disposal industry is a plus
Physical Demands:
• Walking
• Bending
• Climbing
• Crouching
• Driving
• Sitting
• Twisting
• Visually inspecting around and under truck and its components
• Able to lift at least seventy-five (75) pounds as needed daily
Working Conditions:
In mechanic shop and/or outside in all weather conditions.
