Lloyd Street School is a vibrant exciting place to work!
We are located in East Malvern and have an enrolment of approximately 410 students for 2026. Our community includes more than 30 languages spoken at home and all our students enjoy access to a highly engaging programme of inquiry, planned within the International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme, and Victorian Curriculum framework. In the key learning areas of Mathematics and English, the provision of a differentiated curriculum ensures that students have access to `point of need learning,¿ aimed at ensuring both success and challenge for all students.
A variety of specialist programmes form an integral part of the learning programme, with students having access to instruction in the following single subject areas: Physical Education, LOTE French, Visual Arts, Performing Arts. In addition learners participate with class teachers in the Library, ICT Lab and Philosophy.
The school provides inclusive, contemporary learning resources for the students, with access to appropriate Digital Technology resources including robotics, coding and a 1:1 device program for students in years 5 and 6.
The school has a wellbeing focus utilising a range of resources including Respectful Relationships, Zones of Regulation, Talking the Talk, Cyber safety lessons and Berry Street Education model. Our school values and expectations are modelled and `lived¿ by students and staff on a daily basis.
The school enjoys a positive reputation in the community and aims to continue building positive and productive relationships with the parent body. It is a highly connected parent community who support student learning in classrooms through parent helpers program, excursions, and camps. They are also very active in creating opportunities for parent and community connections and links to the wider community events that enhance the partnership between home and school and with the wider community and global contexts.

This role is for a classroom-based Education Support person to work with students with additional needs. The successful applicant will be involved in daily routines and structures that support students and staff in achieving learning goals for students. You will be part of an expanding team of Education support staff as the school is increasing in number of students with funding to support their strengths and needs.
