Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated classroom teacher to join our committed staff from Term One 2026. This is a contract position and the suitable applicant will need to have extensive classroom teaching experience, have an understanding of inquiry learning, Vision for Instruction and demonstrate the disposition as a life long learner.
Suitable applicants should address the following criteria in writing as part of the application:
be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to, and maintain positive workplace relationships.
have a thorough understanding of contemporary approaches to learning and teaching
be able to develop a stimulating learning environment
show an ability to work as part of a team
be committed to ongoing professional learning
have good oral and written communication skills
be able to use information and communication technologies to enhance learning
be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school
have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities
be familiar and comply with the school's child-safe policy and code of conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety.

Special Requirements:
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (or have applied for registration if you are a graduate)
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School or a willingness to undertake studies
able to provide students with a child-safe environment
include the contact details of three referees
have an understanding that our school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
