Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Empty rubbish bins, trays, and containers, ensuring waste and recyclables are disposed of correctly.
Operate industrial vacuums and other cleaning equipment to maintain clean floors and work areas.
Remove dust and debris from ceilings, walls, fixtures, overhead pipes, and other high surfaces.
Safely use approved cleaning chemicals, including acids and solvents, to remove stains, grease, and built-up dirt.
Strip, polish, re-wax, and maintain floor surfaces as required.
Perform regular inspections and complete basic maintenance tasks, keeping accurate records.
Carry out heavy-duty cleaning tasks and special cleaning assignments when needed.
Identify, document, and report any maintenance issues, damage, or repair needs to management.
Perform minor adjustments or simple repairs where appropriate.
Clean, sanitise, and maintain wet areas, and report any plumbing defects.
Undertake exterior cleaning tasks, which may include sand-blasting when required.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $28 per hour.
Other requirements for the role:
Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide full training.
A valid Driver’s Licence as you may be required to drive the company’s vehicle.
Availability to work on weekends and late evenings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Physically fit and able to perform the physical duties of the role.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
