Cleaners Wanted – In-Home Support & Cleaning

Mid Murray Support Service is seeking reliable, community-minded Cleaners to provide in-home cleaning services for older people and people with disability. While cleaning is the primary focus of this role, it’s also about supporting independence, noticing changes, and being an extra set of caring eyes and ears for our clients.

About the role
You’ll provide domestic cleaning services in clients’ homes while also playing an important role in supporting their wellbeing. This includes observing and reporting any changes or concerns to help ensure clients remain safe and supported.
Duties may include:
✔ General household cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens)
✔ Maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic living spaces
✔ Supporting clients to remain independent in their own homes
✔ Monitoring the home environment and client wellbeing during visits
✔ Reporting observations, concerns, or changes in a timely manner
✔ Completing shift notes and reports using our worker app
✔ Following service instructions, care plans, and organisational procedures
What you’ll need
✔ Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
✔ Current driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
✔ National Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
✔ Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✔ Confidence using a mobile app for reporting and communication
✔ A respectful, reliable, and people-focused approach
