Job Title: Housekeeper / Room Cleaner
Location: Stratford, Ontario
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Compensation: Earn 10% of room revenue per clean (average room rate: $200–$600)
Bonus: Receive an additional 2% for each 5-star guest review on Google mentioning cleanliness or room quality

Hotel Julie is a boutique hotel in Stratford, Ontario, featuring nine designer flats in a reimagined 1+th-century row house. Located steps from the city’s renowned theatres, gardens, and shops, the hotel offers a bold, artistic, and luxurious stay. We deliver an elevated guest experience, and cleanliness plays a critical role in our success.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Room Cleaner who takes pride in delivering spotless, beautifully maintained spaces. This is a results-based role: you are compensated per clean based on room revenue, with added incentives for excellence in guest satisfaction.
Compensation Structure:
Base Pay: 10% of each room’s nightly revenue (e.g., earn $30–$60 per clean depending on rate)
Bonus Pay: +2% per room when a 5-star Google review mentions cleanliness or room quality
Example: Room rate $400 + 5-star review = $40 + $8 bonus = $48 total
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize flats, including bathrooms, kitchens, and all surfaces
Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities
Ensure each room meets Hotel Julie’s premium presentation standards
Report any maintenance or inventory issues
Maintain cleaning supplies and storage areas
Occasionally assist with laundry or deep cleaning tasks
Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping or hospitality cleaning experience is a plus
Strong eye for detail and high cleanliness standards
Ability to manage time and work independently
Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Weekend and holiday availability preferred
