Cleaning Operative - Day Shift
Work location: Glasgow Airport, UK
Hourly pay rate: £12.10 per hour
Working hours: 40 hours per week, with a rotation of 4 on and 3 off, then 3 on and 4 off

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the terminal building by performing various cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, and upkeep of washrooms, toilets, offices, and external areas as directed by Senior Supervisor.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while adhering to company expectations, rules, and procedures
Properly handle hazardous materials, use uniform correctly, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly, and demonstrate safe behavior both landside and airside
Maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor towards colleagues, clients, and others within the airport and work location
Perform other duties as assigned
Person Specification:
Demonstrate good attention to detail, ability to work independently, and use initiative. Be reliable, responsible, and flexible, with good communication skills and commitment to quality
Be able to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment
Able to work without constant supervision and follow management instructions
Be reliable and flexible
Full training will be provided
Essential Requirements:
Provide 5-year checkable referencing history
Prior cleaning experience is preferred, as is experience using buffer/scrubber drier equipment
