Role Description:
This role is for a permanent staff in Jaipur for Singapore Settlements team supporting critical activities like trades repair, rejection, FX, Manual Payments, Funding, client management and reconciliation.

Your key responsibilities
• Ability to recognize potential issues and take the appropriate action, including escalation to management when necessary
• Preparing, verifying, and sending swift instructions to Depositories and Agent.
• Resolving problems arisen from unmatched items and implement long term solutions for frequently occurred issues
• Preparing pending trades report and communicate with custodian agent to identify settlement issues over telephone or via provided systems
• Assisting in reconciling cash accounts against agent bank statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Identifying cash or any other discrepancies to our books & records and following up till resolved.
• Escalate all issues properly, in time, to the appropriate level, to avoid any adverse impact on the business
• Ability to analyze process for re-engineering opportunities
• Supporting client services team to resolve problem for client in term of settlement issue.
• Assist in creating proper backups through adequate cross training, within the department.
• Should voluntarily process workload of other members to ensure load balancing in the team.
• Conduct UAT of application and document the observations.
• Be innovative and come up ideas to automate the processes. Should have an approach to continuously improve the process to build in efficiency in the process
• Should assist Team in resolving day to day production related queries
Your skills and experience
Education
• MBA or Bachelor's degree in a Finance related subjects with relevant experience. MBA preferred. Certification in securities will be an added advantage
Preferred Work Experience
• Should have worked in an Investment Bank/Custodian/Security market intermediary
• Should have 2-3 years of work experience in securities, settlements, reconciliation or other custodian related activities.
• Should have exposure working with Global Custodians Experience in deployment of technology projects related to securities will be valuable
