Job Description
We work from 8AM to 6PM on weekdays and 9AM to 5PM on the weekends.
We are are seeking compassionate team player with exceptional communication skills. You will work alongside trained staff to deliver quality care to out esteemed clients. You will be working at front of the office to help out clients with their queries on telephone and in person. You will be making appointments, taking in clients pets and discharging them. You will also be expected to help the Veterinarians or Vet Technician at the back of the office whenever needed. You will be trained for each role you will be performing.
What we seek in our ideal Candidate:
Previous Vet-Assistant/Client care experience
Strong communication and team work skills
Customer service background with pleasing personality
Compassionate animal owner
Ability to work with Avimark electronic veterinary software is an asset. Previous experience not mandatory. You will be trained to use it. Need to have great typing skills
Ability to lift over 40 lbs.
Able to provide patient restraint during procedures and examinations
Ability to work in a team setting.
Able to work well under stressful and sometimes emotional situations
Ability to work on weekends.
