Join Aon’s newly formed Construction Industry Practice and be a part of our growth journey. We are seeking a strategic thinker who evidences technical expertise and industry thought leadership with a consistent track record of account growth and delivering long term value to client C-suite level.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join the Construction Industry Practice Group (IPG), the first practice group to span all of Aon and which has recently launched.

A growth Client Segment within Aon Risk Solutions, the Construction IPG specializes in the provision of exceptional Insurance and Risk Management Services to a broad portfolio of construction and contractor related organisations on both an annual and project specific basis.

As a Client Director you will be accountable for strategic client leadership, anticipating your clients’ needs to deliver solutions and optimizations. Confident in building executive relationships your role encompasses driving opportunity identification and new business initiatives. As a key member of the leadership team you will be responsible to coach and motivate a diverse and high performing team.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Aon Sydney offices.

What the day will look like
Own, grow, and retain a portfolio of key construction clients, acting as their primary strategic advisor and ensuring delivery of superior service.
Anticipate current and emerging client needs based on market, regulatory and industry trends to drive innovation
Designing and executing targeted sales strategies to ensure profitable growth
Driving and supporting the unmatched talent plan and contributing to a positive increase in engagement levels across business by leading, coaching and motivating the team members
Identify and implement process and service improvements to enhance service standards, using data and client feedback.
Mobilising expertise across Aon to deliver on client commitments and promote strong internal collaboration.
Accountable for budgeted revenue and profitability targets by expanding existing construction client relationships, and winning targeted new business.

Proven commercial experience providing analysis on revenue, profit and PTI
Tier 1 qualification / Diploma of General Insurance (Broking)
