Client Executive – Banking and Capital Markets/Wealth & Asset Management


The opportunity


As our Client Executive – Banking and Capital Markets/Wealth & Asset Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service to a leading global wealth and asset management organization. You’ll drive account sales strategy, lead client-facing business development, and build senior-level relationships that create long-term value.


This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney.


Your key responsibilities

Drive account sales strategy and growth, delivering revenue outcomes and deepening relationships a major wealth and asset management client.
Work with EY’s leadership team to manage one of our largest and most complex accounts through the origination of new opportunities and the development of sincere, lasting client relationships.
Manage the sales process for a portfolio of strategic opportunities, including identifying and closing new business.
Drive the sales of large, complex technology-enabled transformation projects and managed services engagements, working in conjunction with subject matter specialists to ensure alignment with client needs and organisational goals.
Take ownership of understanding client challenges and mobilising the right EY capabilities and networks to architect and close new business opportunities.
Ensure consistent pricing and contractual arrangements within the account.
Conduct win/loss reviews to determine what factors caused the firm to win or lose business and proactively share this information with the account team.

Skills and attributes for success

Ability to build and sustain trusted relationships, demonstrating strong executive presence and influencing skills.
Commercial acumen and sector expertise to identify opportunities, negotiate complex agreements, and deliver client-centric solutions.
Proven capability to drive account sales and growth strategy and foster innovation through alliances and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience within a professional services environment will be highly regarded and help you thrive in this role.

Demonstrated experience selling to or managing relationships with executives and heads of business units within Financial Services.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles within wealth and asset management or broader financial services.
Strong influencing skills and ability to navigate a matrixed organisation, balancing client priorities with firm objectives.
A proven ability to lead virtual teams brought together around an account opportunity.
Detailed financial knowledge gained through selling complex solutions.
A high degree of self-drive and tenacity, with the ability to proactively manage your own priorities in an autonomous environment.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
