The Role Responsibilities

Processes
• Share responsibilities with colleagues on team to download and review daily Dodd Frank exception report. Help identify true exceptions and reach out to relevant client/s or internal stakeholders to mitigate valid exceptions quickly and accurately or escalate unresolved exceptions to Legal/Compliance/Risk Owners when appropriate. Assist in maintaining all records of exceptions accurately for monthly reporting
• Open / close SCI FM accounts for CIC USA & all US based entities and ensure correct data linkage to the respective TP systems.
• Amend static data and TP linkages as requested
• Provide support to SCB teams regarding SCI FM accounts.
• Obtain, Review, track and store US Patriot Certificates (IMLA)
• Prioritize incoming account requests and escalate as needed to ensure completion
• Act as a bridge between OCC / FM Sales and the Chennai teams (Crops / FM Control) and SCI teams interpreting the request / questions and provide guidance on how a problem can be resolved

Risk Management
• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the group by diligent attention to the policy and procedures related to the respective processes of Client on-boarding

Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities
• Support US Insurance & Investors RM/CM s by performing client on boarding and maintenance requests specifically for funds of fund managers
• Ensure Financial Market Regulatory information (i.e. Dodd Frank, EMIR, Canadian Provincial Reporting, HK, etc.) is provided accordingly to the acct on boarding execution teams for Investor s funds.
• Follow processes by which SCB s regulatory requirements can be met in the most efficient and client friendly manner while retaining highly organized supporting documentation.
• Work closely with Financial Market Compliance and Client Lifecycle Design & Mgmt team to maintain a complete understanding of the current regulations along with any changes or additions as they come along.
• Work with various other back & middle office teams as required, to ensure a seamless process for clients and their transactions.
• Constantly strive to improve the current onboarding and regulatory process.
