Your role:

Our Big 4 banking client is one of Capgemini's largest in APAC. Over several years, the account leadership team has driven various initiatives to further build & reposition the Capgemini brand and drive ‘profitable portfolio shift’ by winning deals in the technology as well as business areas. Our ambition is to be the Business and Technology Transformation Partner. The Client Partner will focus on growing Capgemini's footprint in both Retail and Commercial banking divisions by driving and shaping opportunities in focus areas whilst continuing to drive the profitable portfolio shift. Melbourne based. Minimal international travel unless accompanying the client stakeholders to international Capgemini offices.

Well-structured & supportive team environment, working with senior Capgemini stakeholders from the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, APAC and wider Australian business

Overall responsibility for the development, maintenance and growth of new area by establishing relationships with bank stakeholders / buyers

Proactive sales activities to meet all targets/objectives

Responsible for determining and driving the strategy for allocated focus areas

Build deep account intelligence, and help identify further sales opportunities

Build proposals, POVs, and pricing for both proactive bids and RFI/RFPs (with bid team and Global Business Line support)

Take a leading role in account-based marketing initiatives and events coordination in your area

Work with Global Business Lines (GBLs), operations teams, and other teams to secure deals

P&L ownership for the allocated division/ business area or portfolio

Your profile:

Experienced Account Manager

Sales experience in professional / IT Services Consulting or similar client facing roles

Banking and Financial Services domain experience

Retail/ Commercial Banking experience ideally

Great track record in achieving and exceeding targets / goals / metrics

Strong relationship building and influencing skills

Commitment and passion for customer satisfaction

Ability to work effectively as an individual as well as part of an integrated team

Well-developed communication skills including ability to present confidently to an audience from all levels within an organisation

Curious, 'make-it-happen’ attitude, quick learner

Creative - good with slideware, proposal development, and story-telling capability

General understanding of complex, global, onshore / offshore delivery models and agile / waterfall methodologies
