About the role
Fordham specialises in delivering member benefits programs and consulting services to Aboriginal communities around Australia. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Assistant Manager will provide support in the day-to-day management of the Client Services team, work alongside the team in the delivery of professional and responsive services to members, as they seek to understand their benefits and services available to them, and resolving complaints, and escalating and resolving complex matters when necessary.
This role is based in our central CBD Perth office.
Key responsibilities will include:
Team management responsibilities including fortnightly team checks ins, coordinating leave and coverage, supporting team training initiative, providing client updates and relevant feedback and information to the team.
Providing clear, culturally respectful communication and support.
Communicating operational reporting and data to key stakeholders.
Support in the implementation of operational improvements.
About you
Completion of secondary education – Year 12 or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service and/or office administration environment with experience in client services or community services preferred.
Cultural awareness and experience working with First Nations communities will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience leading and supporting a team in previous role/s.
Experience in handling complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
