About the Role
Instep UK are looking for a driven and client-focused Client Solutions Manager to join their growing sales team. This is a fully remote, permanent opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who is passionate about helping organisations develop their people and deliver measurable impact through learning and development solutions. Reporting to the Director of Client Solutions, you will be responsible for growing funded learning programmes across public sector and commercial clients, identifying new opportunities, and delivering an exceptional client experience from first contact through to programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage new and existing client relationships to meet and exceed personal sales targets
• Prospect, progress and close new business opportunities
• Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
• Understand client leadership and management needs and recommend tailored solutions
• Deliver outstanding client engagement and service throughout the sales lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, curriculum design and onboarding
• Lead quarterly business reviews and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Provide clear guidance on apprenticeship and learning programmes
• Build and execute strategic account plans focused on client KPIs and ROI
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within education, training or learning & development
• Proven track record of managing and closing a strong sales pipeline
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Commercially astute with a solution-selling mindset
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple proposals and projects
• Collaborative team player with high energy and resilience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Passion for people development and client success
Desirable: Experience selling leadership & management or digital transformation programmes.
