Job Title: Client Assets Office – CASS Oversight

Location: Bangalore

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Role Description

The CASS Office provides a central oversight and advisory function for interpreting and implementing the FCA’s Client Assets (CASS) rules. The CASS Office is part of the Global Client Assets Group within IB & Cross Product Operations and oversees systems and controls in place to comply with the CASS requirements. The group reports to the DBAG London Branch Board on the effectiveness of controls and the maintenance of the associated governance structure.

As part of this role, you will assist with the implementation and management of the CASS oversight framework and enhance and embed a strong risk management structure.

Responsibilities will include: performing/overseeing the execution of key processes, interpreting and providing guidance on the application of CASS regulations to products and services DB offers its clients, monitoring compliance with CASS requirements across business and operational areas and assisting the Client Assets Oversight Officer with all aspects of CASS risk management and governance.

Your key responsibilities

Perform and/or oversee the execution of key CASS Governance, Control and Oversight processes
Support and project manage audits and reviews across the CASS environment
Coordinate processes across stakeholder groups, including attestations, CASS Resolution Pack, monthly report to regulator (‘CMAR’), development of management information and management of governance forums
Support the development and implementation of efficient control processes within Operations to ensure/maintain compliance with FCA CASS regulations
Provide technical advice on CASS compliance to businesses and support functions, while promoting regulatory awareness throughout the firm
Your skills and experience

Experience of working in operational / regulatory functions within a financial services firm, including knowledge of front-to-back trade flows and the management of control processes
Strong analytical & data interpretation skills, with experience of managing large datasets (including advanced Excel skills)
Experience delivering / supporting regulatory projects, audits and/or reviews would be highly beneficial
Understanding of the regulatory environment, and knowledge of Client Assets regulations would be beneficial
Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders
Proven self-starter who shows attention to detail, meets deadlines and works well in a team
