About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Assurance & Risk Management Lead of our Safety and Quality team within SDPRIA, you will lead and support the application of clinical safety processes and frameworks across digital transformation programs. Your work will ensure that clinical safety & quality risks are identified, assessed and addressed throughout the end-to-end participant journey in digital healthcare systems.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) Program where you’ll collaborate with clinicians, managers and executives across NSW Health, using Human-Centred Design principles, clinical risk frameworks and the SDPR Clinical Safety Management System.

In this role, you will:

Lead clinical digital safety and risk assessments across system design, development, testing and implementation

Contribute to clinical assurance activities across SDPR and other large-scale digital health initiatives

Support hazard analysis and development of safety recommendations for mitigating digital clinical risks

Engage with stakeholders including senior clinicians, LHDs, and program leads to influence risk management decisions

Prepare and present safety reports and escalate findings to support clinical governance

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Brings strong experience in clinical digital safety or assurance, ideally within complex healthcare environments

Holds relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in clinical governance, health ICT or clinical risk management

Demonstrates sound knowledge of clinical practices, ICT systems, incident management platforms and regulatory frameworks

Can analyse and translate data into insights, prepare recommendations and communicate effectively across all levels

Has experience working in large-scale programs and is confident facilitating workshops and managing diverse stakeholders
