Are you a seasoned clinical leader passionate about driving best practice and enhancing client care?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Governance Lead to join our Newcomers Settlement & Integration (NSI) division. This pivotal role is responsible for elevating clinical practice, embedding evidence-based models, and ensuring robust clinical oversight across our multi-disciplinary teams.
As the Clinical Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clinical frameworks. You will work collaboratively with clinicians, managers, and casework staff within the Case Assessment and Clinical Team (CACT) and the broader NSI division to:
Enhance Clinical Practice: Drive the dissemination and integration of evidence-based practice models.
Implement Clinical Services: Oversee the delivery of a defined suite of clinical services, potentially managing a small team of clinicians.
Provide Expert Consultation: Offer invaluable support and guidance to caseworkers managing clients with critical and complex needs, including minors.
Develop Practice Frameworks: Identify practice needs and develop comprehensive frameworks encompassing training, services, and policies.
Strengthen Referral Networks: Ensure robust internal and external referral pathways for NSI programs.
Establish Supervision: Implement and maintain a strong group and individual clinical supervision framework.
Represent the Organisation: Present on service delivery practice models at relevant forums, meetings, and conferences.

Essential Criteria:
Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Must be approved by the Psychology Board to supervise Psychologists who are preparing for clinical registration.
Significant experience in clinical services, ideally across a range of program areas and populations.
Experience in providing clinical supervision to case workers and frontline staff. Significant (3+ years) experience in client-based service delivery including services to CALD clients and children and young people.
Previous management experience, including meeting contractual KPIs and monitoring client outcomes across a program area.
Experience with quality management and client management systems. Experience with training and the professional development of case workers and other frontline staff.
Development of behaviour management plans for children and young people who are prescribed psychotropic medication.
Experience managing high risk projects and senior stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
