About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Product Lead to join our Interventional Radiology and Imaging team. This pivotal role that combines strategic category leadership with hands on sales and clinical engagement. Reporting to the Business Manager for Interventional Radiology, Vascular and Imaging you will work closely with them to set the strategic plan for the designated business and drive category growth. With full support of our management team, you will lead and manage new and existing supplier relationships and have product management responsibilities. If you thrive on combining your product expertise with frontline customer engagement, including clinical and procedural support, this is the role for you.

You will be provided with competitive base salary, including sales incentive bonus and car allowance and medical insurance

You will come with commercial experience in the Interventional Radiology, Vascular or Imaging fields. Other essentials we are looking for:

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with an ability to articulate technical information to all stakeholders internal/external.
Be the expert: Provide technical and clinical support for the team, including clinical support during procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.
Ability to lead and influence with vision: Develop and execute strategic business plans, conduct market analysis, identify new business opportunities within existing and new agencies, monitor and report on business performance including sales forecasting.
Define and manage a sales territory and develop team territory plans
Drive product management initiatives to support the sales team to achieve budgeted sales and profit forecasts.
Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
Willing to help Obex reaching its vision of ‘providing better clinical outcomes for NZ patients’

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Endovascular, Radiology or Imaging therapeutic area sales/management within the medical device industry.
Strong clinical knowledge and established procurement relationships within assigned therapeutic categories.
Proven ability to grow revenue and manage supplier relationships.
Prior experience providing expert technical/clinical support to healthcare professionals.
Strong understanding of NZ hospital systems, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
You thrive in fast paced, dynamic environments.
Current NZ driver’s licence and ability to travel nationally.
NZ Resident or be eligible to live and work in NZ
