Job Summary:
The Medical Affairs content teams create scientific content for a variety of deliverable types such as slide decks, eModules, infographics, videos, medical information responses, and mailers. The team leverages clinical and scientific knowledge and applies this knowledge to our client’s business problems to reach to various target audiences such as medical affairs teams, sales reps, physicians, nurses, and patients across different therapy areas. In light of this, the role holder in Content Solutions would get an opportunity to learn and partner with healthcare clients on various projects.
The Job entails the following but not limited to:
Develop, review, and edit scientific and medical content meeting International Quality Standards and client expectations
• Training materials for medical affairs teams, sales reps, and other internal audiences within pharma/biotech companies
• Training and Continuous Medical Education (CME) for physicians and nurses
• Medical communication deliverables such as slide decks, infographics, brochures, videos, newsletters etc
• Digital content like mailers
• Develop and prepare content based on target audience (physicians, patients, etc.) and mode of deployment (print, web, multi-channels) – within the specified time for multiple deliverables
• Interact with team members of other units to blend the content with creative and/or technology for projects based on the client's needs
• Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
• Be up-to-date with the latest technical /scientific/regulatory developments and apply the learnings on various projects
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives and milestones.
Desired Skills
1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of medical/scientific writing experience in pharmaceutical companies or medical communications agencies
2. Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field.
3. Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
4. Skilled with use of Microsoft tools
