Role: Clinical Negligence SolicitorLeading law firm looking to recruit dedicated and experienced Solicitors for highly sought permanent position.Salary: Competitive. Our client’s accomplishments are acknowledged and recommended in The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, as a top tier firm.Main Responsibilities of the Role:Report directly to Department DirectorProfessional pro-active approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of client's needsResponsible for all aspects of Clinical Negligence work and on occasions, where appropriate providing technical expertise and guidance to other team membersAbility to manage appropriate caseload types and complexitiesAssisting with casework including dealing with a range of Clinical Negligence cases that have been issued at court. including excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and protocolsAttending clients, taking instructions and preparing casesDealing with correspondenceMaintaining accurate time costing proceduresImplementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptlyEnsuring compliance with file management.Key Skills Required:2-4 years experience in clinical negligence and Personal injuryMust have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applyingCommitted team player and adapt well to new challengesPrevious proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators is an advantageProfessional with a pro-active approach; excellent client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalitiesExcellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new businessExcellent analytical and organizational skillsAbility to use own initiative and sound judgmentWorking knowledge of Clinical Negligence work and have the ability to service privately funded casesHave extensive experience in dealing with Clinical Negligence related workExperience in own advocacy is an advantageExcellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skillsThis list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties as reasonably required.About Gemini Recruitment and Equal Opportunities:Gemini Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specialising in legal recruitment.
