About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team as an Infection Control Clinical Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the hospital meets standards, complies with regulations, and strives for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of risk management strategies to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
Implement infection control programs to ensure high-quality patient care and staff safety.
Utilise external Infection Control Consultants (HICMR) to enforce policies and procedures.
Assist with Infection Control education and staff health programs.
Requirements:
Authority to Work in Australia.
Working with Children check (if relevant).
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Self-motivated with strong teamwork abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.
