We are Hiring Clinical Nurse Manager I – Theatre Department PACU/Anaesthetics for our Hospital client in Dublin. (Permanent Contract)
Key Responsibilities
• The CNM1 is responsible and accountable for the provision of clinical and professional leadership, nursing management and continuous professional development in area of responsibility
• The CNM1 will be designated to take charge within a specialty in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility for that specialty.
• Participate and encourage the development of a research-based nursing practice within the area.
• Encourage and facilitate staff innovation in nursing practice.
• Provide a quality learning environment for under-graduate and post-graduate nursing staff within the preoperative environment.
• Assist in implementing staff development programmes.
Requirements
• Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI, and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential)
• Have a minimum of 1 year management experience (desirable)
• Have a recognized qualification or experience within the specialty (desirable)
• Have completed a management training programme (desirable)
• Have proven clinical and professional ability
• Have 3-5 years post registration experience in an acute setting (essential)
