1 x Fixed Term Full-Time until 26/10/2025, with the possibility of extension(s) and / or permanency.
What is our Clinical NurseConsultant - Residential Care role?
The Residential Care Line Servicebased in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH), is WesternAustralia’s only State-wide, Nurse Practitioner led outreachservice providing support to residential aged care staff to providecare in place.
Our passionate team of nurses workcollaboratively with residential aged care facility (RACF) staffand practitioners, providing clinical excellence, expert knowledgeand education to empower RACF staff to improve the quality-of-lifeof older people living in residential care, supporting their choiceto receive care in their ‘own home’.
We are seeking enthusiastic andinnovative Nurses from primary care or hospital settings with agedcare expertise to join our team as leaders, responsible forproviding:
Expert aged care clinical consultation, and advice to staff working in residential aged care, through on-site visits, phone or via telehealth.
Education and mentorship aimed at up-skilling and empowering staff:
working in the residential aged care setting in Western Australia and
Residential Care Line Service team members.
Advanced clinical leadership in line with organisational core values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity; acts as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition, and collaboration.
Applicants will be required to supporta roster that operates from 0800- 1800 Monday - Sunday.

Eligibility toApply: Australian citizenship or permanent residencyis an essential requirement for applicants to be considered forpermanent positions in the public sector.
