JOB DETAILS:
• Shifts Available: Rotating 12 hours. 36 hours/week
• Hours/Days: 0530-2330 rotating start times, 12 hour shifts; Monday – Friday, Rotating no weekends
• Length of contract: 13 weeks
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provides age-specific, quality, patient-centered care to all patients using the nursing process and standards of nursing practice with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of the human experience
• Expedites appropriate care and treatment, using critical reasoning and astute clinical judgment especially given the patient may present with complex problems or potentially life-threatening conditions
Requirements
MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution.
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Registered Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS certifications
• CPAN preferred
Experience
• PACU background preferred in addition to ICU experience
• Required minimum 2 years ICU (Cardiac preferred).
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Knowledge in specialty area of practice
• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in assigned work area
