Clinical Nurse Specialist - Colorectal & Stoma Care (Band 7)
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Digestive Diseases Unit team. The role involves delivering stoma care and providing specialist advice on complex colorectal cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage programmes of care for patients with chronic disease.
Provide specialist advice to the multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute to strategies to promote and improve health and prevent disease.
Identify resources required to meet patient needs.
Empower patients and their families to use available services.
Establish and evaluate caseload and workload profiles.
Audit and evaluate care in relation to the speciality.
Requirements:
Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent qualification.
Considerable post-registration experience in digestive diseases.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
