Clinical Nurse Specialist – Continence
Promote clinical excellence, expand nursing practice boundaries, and improve older adults' health outcomes in a permanent 32-hour per week (.8 FTE) position.
About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Continence), you will promote clinical excellence, provide specialist care, offer nursing leadership, support education and workforce development, and collaborate with the team to drive improvement and innovation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about promoting the health of older people and have advanced knowledge in continence, urology, gerontology, and chronic conditions.
Provide advanced nursing knowledge and health assessments on continence, urology, and gerontology in the care of older persons.
Role model expert, evidence-based clinical practice.
Network nationally to identify and implement nursing innovations.
Requirements
You will need to be self-directed, thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, build strong relationships, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate.
At least five years' experience working with older adults in primary, community, or secondary settings.
Experience in Continence and/or Urology.
